Product Overview

Fibre lasers employ optical fibres as their medium, evolving from amplification technologies developed for long-distance communication into high-power systems. The fibre structure consists of a central light-transmitting core surrounded by concentric metal cladding. These lasers amplify light through the Yb-doped (Ytterbium) core acting as the active medium.

Optical fibers for amplification (preamplifiers, main amplifiers) have a three-layer structure: a core and two metal cladding layers. Excitation light enters the inner cladding and Yb-doped core, exciting the atoms in the core. The laser light, confined to the core, propagates forward and is amplified by these excited atoms, growing stronger as it travels. Unlike solid-state or gas lasers, the light only moves in one direction without reflection.

Product Advantages

Easily integrated into bag-feeding production lines

The Bag-in-Box Fiber Laser Coder is designed for bag-in-box packaging lines, enhancing process efficiency and flexibility. Using advanced non-contact laser technology, it produces clear, durable markings that remain readable throughout the product lifecycle – even in wet, greasy, dusty conditions or during heat sterilization.

The technology can precisely mark hard-to-reach areas like side gussets and edges, significantly enhancing packaging adaptability.

The machine also supports medium-to-high-speed production lines, capable of marking hard, dense materials like metal parts, electronics housings, wires/cables, cans, and plastic caps.

Laser marking effect

The marking material, the laser wavelength and the type of laser all affect the marking effect. Here are a few of the effects of fiber optic coding.

Fiber laser coding case

Fiber laser marking machine is equipment that uses a high-energy laser beam generated by a fiber laser to create permanent marks on various material surfaces. The marking process works by engraving patterns, text, or 2D codes through laser-induced evaporation, chemical changes, or surface layer ablation.

Fiber laser marking machine can be applied to metal and non-metal materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, copper, iron, steel, alloy, ceramics, glass, plastics, rubber, wood, paper and so on. Its marking effect is clear, beautiful, durable and anti-counterfeiting, and it is suitable for a variety of industries, such as electronics, machinery, automotive, communications, food, packaging, etc.

Product Applications

Fiber laser markers are designed for marking hard, high-density packaging materials on medium or high-speed production lines, such as metal parts, electronics housings, wires and cables, cans, and plastic bottle caps.
